Doha’s glittering coastline is preparing to steal the spotlight once again. From November 5 to 8, 2025, the Qatar Boat Show returns to the iconic Old Doha Port, promising a second edition that is bigger, bolder, and more innovative than ever.
Last year’s debut was nothing short of historic. Drawing 23,500 visitors from over 90 countries, the inaugural edition featured 495 brands, sprawled across 250,000 square meters, and unveiled 74 vessels, including 20 world premieres and 22 regional debuts. The 2024 show made headlines as the largest inaugural boat show ever staged globally—a remarkable first that instantly positioned Qatar as a new powerhouse on the world’s maritime map. It also set another milestone: seven Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) members exhibited at a debut event for the very first time, signaling Qatar’s rising stature in the world of ultra-luxury yachting.
“Qatar Boat Show 2024 exceeded even our boldest expectations,” said Mohamed Abdulla Al-Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organizing Committee. “For 2025, we’re building on that momentum with new global partnerships, expanded marine showcases, and an even more immersive experience for both professionals and enthusiasts.”
Beyond a Boat Show
More than a trade fair, the Qatar Boat Show has become a celebration of heritage and horizon. Alongside cutting-edge yachts, the waterfront comes alive with energy: jet ski stunts by day, illuminated paddleboarding by night, and dazzling firework displays reflecting off the harbor. A floating café offers the perfect vantage point—where luxury meets leisure, framed by the city’s modern skyline and Old Doha Port’s timeless charm.
Old Doha Port: Qatar’s Maritime Jewel
The setting itself tells a story of transformation. Once a historic harbor, Old Doha Port is now a year-round cultural and tourism hub, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity. Its 450 berths, superyacht dock, and state-of-the-art facilities make it the beating heart of Qatar’s marine industry. Beyond infrastructure, it embodies Qatar National Vision 2030—a place where culture, commerce, and coastal living converge in one destination.
From the colorful façades of the Mina District, to curated art installations and waterfront promenades, the Port has redefined seafront living while honoring its heritage as a gateway to the sea.
Anchored in the Future
The 2025 edition charts a bold course forward. With expanded showcases, global collaborations, and immersive lifestyle experiences, the Qatar Boat Show is no longer just an event—it is the premier yachting showcase in the Middle East. For the world’s elite, for industry insiders, and for anyone passionate about life at sea, Doha’s waterfront is set to be the ultimate port of call this November.
Stay tuned as Qatar once again sets sail—where innovation meets tradition, and luxury finds its home on the water.
