The debut exhibition, titled “Garden of Emeralds,” kicks off the “Discover the Gemstones” series. This showcase stems from L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewellery Arts’ extensive research on emeralds, designed to enlighten the public on the gemstone’s scientific, cultural, artistic, and craftsmanship dimensions.
Visitors will embark on a journey from the emerald’s geological formation deep within the earth to the artisans’ benches where its true colors, intensity, and splendor are meticulously crafted to life.

An assembly of lapidaries, designers, gem setters, and jewelers collaborates to forge exquisite emerald jewelry, underscoring the gem’s long-standing allure and significance. Revered as one of the most cherished gemstones, emeralds have captivated the craft and creativity of jewelers throughout history, enriching the narratives and symbolism associated with the color green—ranging from nature to notions of authority, faith, and prestige. It’s said that even Emperor Nero wore emerald glasses for comfort during gladiator spectacles.
